Gailey

Coach Chan Gailey retired after the 2016 season and a career that took him to the highest levels of football.  Coach Gailey served as the head coach in colleges at Troy State University, Samford, and Georgia Tech. In professional football, he served as head coach of the Dallas Cowboys and the Buffalo Bills. Through the years, he also served as an assistant for the Air Force Academy, Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins, Kansas City Chiefs, and the New York Jets.

At Troy, he led the Trojans to a 12-1 record and the 1984 Division II national championship. At Georgia Tech, he had a winning season in each of his six years and went to a bowl game each year. While with the Broncos, he went to three Super Bowls. While with the Steelers he went to one Super Bowl. His two Dallas Cowboys teams made the playoffs each year and one the NFC East in 1998. Coach Gailey is a native of Americus, Georgia and played quarterback for 3 years at Florida under Coach Doug Dickey.
